Expressing thanks to the youths for supporting him, describing them as an integral support system in the society and an active voice of change,
Mr Ozigbo noted he was very much a pro-youth advocate – hence the reason he was called “king of the youths.”
Valentine Ozigbo, the leading candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming governorship election rounded up his 3-day meeting with party stakeholders in Awka yesterday with a meeting with youth leaders of the party, at the Emmaus house in Awka.
He expressed that he was actively involved in youth development activities – ranging from religion to business and industry, tech, entertainment, amongst others, and will involve them in his government and development plans for Anambra state, as the youths are the creative, intellectual and the energetic powerhouse of the state.
Speaking to our correspondent after the meeting, a PDP stakeholder from Aguata constituency, Chief Tony Ofia lauded Ozigbo for the initiative saying he was continuing in the legacy of Peter Obi.
Also, a youth representative, Precious Chisom, who spoke to our correspondent described Ozigbo as Open minded, learned and qualified for the job.
The stakeholders meeting held from June 2nd to 4th and was well attended by stakeholders of the party.
