THE BRIEF HISTORY OF KPAKPANDO MEDIA GROUP

The first edition of Kpakpando Newspaper came in with a beautiful special edition in September 2017 heralding the New YAM festival of several communities in Anambra State. The quality of the newspaper which is all colour edition.

Kpakpando Media Group has her pioneer staff as Chief Christian Ebede the publisher, Comrade Chris Adike the Pioneer Editor in Chief, Ugochukwu Nwankwo the Pioneer Administration Manager, Chioma Nwosu Marketing Manager, Ifeoma Egbeocha,�Sir Austin Ebede as the Pioneer Chapel Secretary, Elder Aniekeme who handles the graphic designs and production. Kpakpando Media Group also has the service of Prof Uche Ebeze of Mass Communication Department, Nnamdi University Awka as the Pioneer consultant /The Chapel Chairman.

Some couple of months later Dr Emmanuel Ikwueze a former Chairman NUJ Old Anambra State joined in a consulting capacity and rendered some expertise inputs to the media Group. Other pioneer members of the Group include Osita Nweke, Okwy Ibezim, Chioma Nwankwo the Accountant, John Udemezue (OJ) Publicity Director.

Following the success and acceptance of the Newspaper the top management of Kpakpando Media Group, pressed ahead with the establishment of the Radio Station, Kpakpando FM. The Radio station came up in a record time of eight months.
Ms Monic Okechukwu joined the Media Group as the substantive General Manager. Mr Obeta Okechukwu joined the Newspaper unit to help in the strengthening of the production after the exit of Dr Emmanuel Ikwueze.
