AS CAMPAIGN TRAIN LANDS AT ONITSHA SOUTH, ONITSHA NORTH AND DUNUKOFIA LGAs

The campaign team of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) continued with its visits to Onitsha North and South Local Government Areas as well as Dunukofia Local Government Area. The Campaign Team first arrived Fegge in Onitsha South Local Government Area where Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) was received by a jubilant crowd of supporters.

Onitsha South APC Chairman Mr. Emeka Kanmelu welcomed Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo and his entourage and described Onitsha South as the second home of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo.

In his remarks, the DG of Dr. Chido Campaign Organization, Barr. Ejike Nwachukwu applauded the massive number of party men and women that came to Fegge to welcome Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo and stated that Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is the only aspirant with a clean and spotless name capable of giving APC victory in the November 6 governorship election. He added that Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is a man of proven pedigree in business and management of resources which is why he transformed a business of N10,000 into a multi-billion Naira conglomerate spanning 12 countries. According to him, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo will replicate the Wichtech success story in Anambra State and for that to be possible all APC members in Onitsha South should queue behind Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo by next Saturday, June 26 and wait behind until victory is sealed.

On his part, the man to beat in the APC primary, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) said he was born and raised in Onitsha and started being successful in Onitsha. Therefore coming to Onitsha was like coming home. He said he knows every nook and cranny of Onitsha and is the best person to transform Onitsha. He noted that he is very hopeful that the primary will be a bold statement of his preparedness to win the main election. Dr. Chido said Anambrarians are very resilient and hardworking people but we have been afflicted with bad governance and added that he is in the race to start the process of building a new Anambra. He said he will pay special attention to the provision of high quality infrastructural projects and remove the stress of doing business in Anambra. He further promised to remodel major markets in the state and bring sanity and serenity to our markets.

At Onitsha North Local Government Area, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo was received by party members, led by Chief Okagbue. In an opening remark, Onitsha North Coordinator of Chido Campaign Organization, emphatically stated that Overdose is a man with multiple constituencies which include the youth, the vhurch, the business community, the elites, the widows and so many others.

The Campaign DG, Barr. Ejike Nwachukwu thanked Onitsha North for the unbelievable welcome. He told the mammoth crowd that Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is the man that can change the image of APC in Anambra State by the kind of transformation he will bring as he settles down to build a new Anambra State we can be proud of. He added that there is no magic to win elections in Anambra State today other than fielding a popular candidate. He chided those who still believe in activating a rigging machinery against the popular wish of the masses in the party stating that APC cannot afford to miss this opportunity of producing a marketable candidate.

The DG went further to describe Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) as a son of the soil who will transform the popular Onitsha Main Market into the envy of Nigeria and Africa. According to him, Dr. Chido has the geography of Onitsha at the palm of his hands and will rebuild Onitsha into a modern city of commerce with solid infrastructures that ease the pains of residents.

Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo while addressing the uncontrollable crowd said that Onitsha is the nucleus of Anambra and nobody can win or transform Anambra without Onitsha. He expressed his gratitude for the unprecedented show of love and support he is getting from the masses and reiterated his promise to build quality road infrastructure with a 50-year lifespan and make Anambra State the biggest industrial hub in Africa. He also promised to make Anambrarians take full advantage of the proposed African Single Market. He enjoined them to turn out en masse with their membership slip and cast their vote for him on June 26.

At Dunukofia Local Government Area, the story was the same. An overwhelming number of supporters under various banners turned up to welcome the entourage of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose) to Ukpo.

The DG, Barr. Ejike Nwachukwu in an opening presentation remarked that with Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo, APC has the easiest path to be in Agu Awka Government House after the November 6 election. He told the party supporters in Dunukofia LGA that there is a growing feeling among party members that this year will be the year APC finally broke the jinx of electoral losses and it is because of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo. He informed the people that Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is poised to create jobs and wealth through investment in industries and agriculture for all communities within Dunukofia urging them not to look back but stick with the moving train that will lead to a New Anambra.

Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo thanked the people of Dunukofia for the warm reception accorded to him and the campaign team. He said that this is a sign that the era of failure in APC in Anambra State has come to an end noting that by God’s grace APC will not just win the Governorship election this year but the party will produce House of Assembly Members, House of Representative Members and Senators as well as Local Government Chairpersons and Councilors in future elections. He declared that APC has risen to fall no more and with him as Governorship Candidate, the party will shock doubting Thomases. Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo appealed to the people to trust him with their mandate on June 26 and watch as he kick-starts the industrial revolution that would create jobs and wealth for a record number of Ndi Anambra.
