In a remark, the President, Home and Abroad of the Parish, Mrs.Philomena Nwobu, saud governments at all levels should take the front seat in driving the moves to arrest perpetrators of such dastardly acts.
Mrs. Nwobu also conveyed deep concern of the Catholic women on the use of women and children for prostitution and baby making for pecuniary purposes in some foreign countries.
The CWO president called for more sensitization to create awareness and bring culprits to book.
She further used the forum to stress the need for eligible voters to obtain their voters cards and also ensure they vote during the November 6 governorship election in the state.
The president commended governor Willie Obiano purposeful leadership, especially the Community Choose- Your- Project initiative to spread democracy dividends and development across all communities in Anambra.
She further commended the governor’s wife Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, for her great concern for women and the less privileged, and also Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor for his fatherly disposition towards motivating them to positive actions.
