President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday called on Nigerians to invoke their indomitable spirit and see the current situation of things as a phase that will pass, just like other unpleasant situations in the nation’s history.
Stating that it is in the midst of hardship that the true test of a nation emerges, he promised that his government will not abandon the promise of a better lease of life made to Nigerians, noting that his administration will continue to create opportunities for the teeming youth population, and asserting that the diversification drive of the government was yielding fruits.
On the fight against insecurity, Buhari assured that with the renewed commitment of security agencies and the government’s support, Nigerians would soon witness an improvement.
He also urged Nigerians to use the Christmas season to show love and encouragement to one another so that the machinations of the wicked ones in our midst will find no place to thrive.
