On Friday 21st January 2022 Anambra Independent football league ( AIFL) 2021/22 football league season Six on Friday, January 21st, played their match day nine with four matches played at the St John Cross Field Egbo Nnewi Anambra State.
The first match was GP world Football Academy of Nnewi who lost at home to Rangel’s of Achina.

The second match of the day, FC OGENE of Obeledu’s poor run this season, continued with another defeat by ten-man Ozalla FC of Onitsha. Michael Makuo scored his second of the day in the 90th minute to help Ozalla FC to a deserved 2-1 win while
Kaposi Okafor got a late consolation goal in the 90+2′ for the struggling FC Ogene.
FC Hark Dove of Awka claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win against Bubendoff FC of Adazi Nnukwu, despite missing many goal scoring opportunities. Ugochukwu Umeh’s 55th-minute strike was enough to seal victory for FC Hark Dove.
The game between Cardinal Arinze FC of Onitsha and Obeledu United FC saw Chibueze Egboka 38′, score the only goal of the match to give his side the desired point.
