Nwankwo family of Ojiefiemeogo in Umuawulu, Awka South L. G. A, Anambra State, pays respect to late Mrs Ifeyinwa Nwankwo ( Nee Nwankwo Etijie)

It was a moment of sorrows and tears as Nwankwo family, friends and well wishers gathered at the country home of Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Nwankwo, Ojiefiemeogo in Umuawulu, Awka South L. G. A, Anambra State, to pay respect to late Mrs Ifeyinwa Nwankwo ( Nee Nwankwo Etijie) as death cut her life short at the age of 40.

During the burial mass, Revd. Fr. Paul Ezeani, a major in the Nigeria Army from Shandan Diocese, Plateau state, lamented and expressed sadness over the untimely death of Ifeyinwa Nwankwo, whom he described as a woman of valor. He sent his heartfelt condolences to the family of Nwankwo, especially to her husband, Chief Emeka Nwankwo and the children she left behind.

Fr. Ben Odika, the Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Umuawulu, during his condolence message, advised the Christians to always be careful the way they live, for the world is changing rapidly.

In her tribute, the deceased elder daughter, Chioma Nwankwo expressed sadness over the demise of her mum but said that they took solace in the fact that their mother lived a life of emulation, and prayed God to grant her soul an eternal rest.

In his interview, High Chief Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi, Ikenga Umuawulu described the death of Mrs Ifeyinwa as a shocker to the entire family and Umuawulu town. He described her as a devoted and passionate christian worthy of emulation.

In their separate interviews, Mr. Nkala Iyke, Chief Emmanuel Ndubuisi, Chief Emmanuel Enwelu and other friends of Ojiefiemeogo consoled the family of Nwankwo and also prayed that the soul of the deceased shall rest in peace, as they also prayed against the spirit of premature death.

Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Nwankwo thanked all who squeezed out time to attend the burial ceremony of his dear wife, praying God to bless them.

Some of the dignitaries that attended the burial were, the traditional ruler of Umuawulu, Igwe Joel Maduadichie Egwuonwu ( Ezeudo 11 of Umuawulu), Chief Jude Nwankwo, Chief Azubuike Ekweozor, Representatives Of Nigeria Breweries, Rev. Fathers from Plateau State, among others.
