Teenager Tells Court How They Used Magic Ring To Steal Kids
16-year-old Lekan Mustapha, has told an Akure Magistrate Court that he and his guardian, Zulum Yisa, used a ring laced with magical powers to kidnap nine children from various parts of Ondo State.
Mustapha said the stolen children were conveyed to an Islamic cleric in Lagos State.
He said they trekked from Ilorin in Kwara State to steal children in Ondo
The suspects were arrested last month by operatives of the Ondo Amotekun Corps at Oka-Akoko area of Ondo State.
In his confession, Mustapha told the court that Yisa gave him the charmed ring which is used to beat his victims to make them unconscious.
The case was adjourned till March 28, 2023.
