Police in Anambra has revealed that about 17 buildings in the state have been marked for demolition.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Echeng Echeng, the buildings in Uli Community, Ihiala Local Government Area, have been a haven for criminals and gunmen who have been terrorizing the state.
The Commissioner who was represented by the Area Commander of Ihiala, ACP Bassey Christopher, at the Uli Peace and Security Summit/Convention on Saturday , said that the peace and security summit and convention is the last chance for the criminals to leave Uli town and after the meeting, the “Operation Action All the Way” will commence . He also advised landlords that own buildings where criminals stay to chase them away.
He also said that they have taken delivery of the apparatus for the operation and said that at the end of the next month, there will be clear difference in terms of security of lives and property.
