Men have been admonished to love their wives and provide for their families just as God is the head of Christ as pointed out in 1st Corinthians chapter 11, verse three, as all things they need is in Christ and they are to connect to Christ to collect their needs and not rely on their strength alone.
This was part of the sermon that was delivered on Sunday by Pastor Jude Obiekwe of Dominion City Headquarters, Awka on the occasion of 2023’s annual Fathers Day celebration tagged “The Mandate”.
Pastor Obiekwe said that the problem people have is not supply but the capacity to receive from God.
He encouraged everyone to exercise their faith in God as it is the system through which christans withdraw things from the heavenly realm.
He emphasized that grace makes the provision while Faith makes the appropriation.
In a world where there is too much noise, Pastor Obiekwe said that Christians should avail themselves the opportunity to hear the word of God regularly as faith works by hearing and mediation takes the word of God from mind to heart .
In gratitude to God for giving Jesus as a model for all men, a senior pastor in the church, Pastor Chijioke Chukwu encouraged all men to be the best version of Jesus in their homes and society at large.
Other activities that were used to demonstrate the need for the man to uphold the mandate of being a priest and king in his home for effective leadership were talk shows, music ministration, drama, and thanksgiving.
