2023/2024 Recruitment Into The Nigeria Police Force:
The General Duty/Specialist Constables, Physical/Credential Screening Exercise Begins From 8th – 29th January 2024 At Police Headquarters Amawbia, Awka.
Candidates to check application status on the recruitment portal, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng, and print their invitation slip
The Anambra State Police Command is inviting indigenes of Anambra State, who applied for the 2023/2024 recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force as General Duty or Specialist Constable, respectively, to a Physical/Credential screening exercise which is will commence 8th January, 2024, to end on 29th January, 2024.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Tochukwu Ikenga, said the exersice will begin by 7 o’clock in the morning each day, at the Police Command Headquarters, Amawbia, Awka LGA
The statement said that consequently, candidates are to check their application status on the recruitment portal, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng, and print out their invitation slip.
It also advised candidates to be at the screening venue in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory requirements:
Two white flat files with a recent passport photograph attached:
Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Medical Hospital
Evidence of Good character from the Village/District Head of the applicant
Certificate of Origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
National Identity Number (NIN) – Slip Print-out
Original and duplicate copies of credentials O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
Print-out of the application form
Duly completed Guarantor’s form
As well as Invitation slip
Note that: Any candidate who fails to present any of the above-mentioned requirements will not be considered for the exercise.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, has reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge.
The Police Commissioner assured that the screening will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and professionalism.
The CP also advised the applicants not to allow themselves to be swindled by online fraudsters and other criminal elements, who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to defraud innocent applicants and further warned that anyone found wanting will be arrested and prosecuted.
