In a shocking turn of events, a woman named Chinyere Chukwu, along with her daughter, Joy Chukwu, were apprehended for allegedly attempting to sell two of Chinyere’s sons for a staggering sum of N1.8 million.

According to Hon Ify Obinabo, who acted as an undercover buyer, Chukwu’s motive stemmed from financial desperation, as she struggled to provide for her 11 children.

However, a delegation from Ozubulu community has vehemently denied any association with Chinyere Chukwu.

Led by Chief Chris Ononuju and Lady Ndupu Clara, the community leaders affirmed that Chukwu was merely a resident, not a native or spouse of any community member.

Ononuju clarified that despite her claims, investigations have proven that she has no ties to Ozubulu as the man she referenced as her late husband is alive, and she merely resides in his property as a tenant.’

As investigations continue and the legal process unfolds, the Ozubulu community remains steadfast in their stance, distancing themselves from the unfortunate actions of Chinyere Chukwu.
