Anambra State ICT Agency Urges Citizens to Embrace Technology for Progress and Transformation

At the 2024 Local Government Service Week at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA), Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, emphasized the crucial role of technology for the state’s future. He highlighted Governor Soludo’s commitment to making Anambra’s workforce, including local government officials, tech-savvy.

CFA stressed that while technology is inherently inclusive, it requires significant investments. He encouraged officials to embrace technological initiatives, noting that proficiency in tech skills can greatly enhance their value in any field. Dr. Bridget Egbosi echoed this sentiment, urging officials to invest in digital tools and personal development.

Chairman of the Commission, Barr. Vin Ezeaka, commended CFA’s address and called for collective efforts to improve the local government system. He emphasized the importance of a unified approach to integrating technology, which is vital for the efficient and effective functioning of local governance.
