Anambra Govt. Distributes 150 Oxygen Cylinders, Accessories To Faith Based, Private Hospitals

Anambra State Government has distributed 150 Oxygen Cylinder and accessories to Government owned hospitals, Faith based hospitals, and Private hospitals across the State.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike disclosed this in Awka while handing over the Oxygen Cylinder to the beneficiaries.
He said that Gov. Charles Soludo’s administration is committed towards improving the healthcare system
Dr. Obidike recalled that the in 2023, State Government supported his ministry to train Faith based, Government and Private hospitals’ healthcare workers on oxygen use.
The Commissioner noted, “The importance of oxygen gas cylinders lies in its ability to provide reliable and portable source of oxygen, which is essential for human life.
“Oxygen gas cylinders are crucial in various settings, including: Healthcare: Oxygen therapy for patients with respiratory issues, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other breathing difficulties.”
