on Monday 19th October 2020 the light heavy weight Champion Jude Ilo, popular known as great Jude Ilo yesterday defeted Jimoh Nojeem defend his belt as the Champion,the fight which took place at Stadium surulere Brai Ayonote Boxing Gymnasium Lagos, which he knocked Jimoh out in the 4th round to maintain his Championship belt, Jude Ilo who hails from Agulu village in Aniocha L.G.A of Anambra state Nigeria.
Speaking to kpakpando FM on Monday after the fight. he said that Nigeria Anambra has plenty of talented youths and boxer, but that the government boot federal and state levels is yet to provide the needed support to groom the athletes. Ilo further said the current training facilities for Boxing in Nigeria and Anambra are in dysfunctional.
He attributed his phone number victory to hard work, he thanked his fans for their support.
Mr Ilo further said his ready to take on any opponent whenever his is called upon to do so, and to defend his title, and that boxing is what he do for a living and in no distant time he will be crowned a world champion.
