The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Senator Dino Melaye for alleged anti-party activities.

According to a statement from his Ayetoro/Iluagba Ward 1, the decision followed a review of a disciplinary committee’s report. The party cited Melaye’s failure to appear before the committee to address accusations of misconduct as a violation of party rules.

The ward party executive noted that Melaye’s actions have brought embarrassment to the PDP, prompting his immediate suspension, as per Article 59(1) of the PDP Constitution.
