The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved several significant initiatives, including amending Nigeria’s tax laws and GC constructing judges’ quarters in Abuja.
One of the proposed tax amendments will offer relief to companies creating new jobs and increase personal income tax exemptions from ₦200,000 to ₦400,000.
Additionally, FEC approved a contract to build a 258-kilometer highway in Kebbi and Sokoto states, part of the larger Illela-Badagry superhighway project. The council also endorsed a disaster relief fund for flood-hit areas and announced plans to assess the integrity of dams across the country.
