Soludo Rebrands ASATU, Renames It ASTUC

Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has approved the rebranding of Anambra State Association of Town Union, ASATU, to now be known and referred to as Anambra State Town Unions Council [ASTUC]

Governor Soludo who announced the renaming during a meeting with the Presidents General of 179 communities in the state at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, said the change was for effective operations.
He emphasized the critical role of Presidents General as public servants elected to perform specific duties for the government in their respective communities.
Governor Soludo also announced the appointment of Sir Vin Dike [President General Oraifite Improvement Union] as the new Chairman of Anambra State Town Union Council.
Sir Vin Dike now replaces the former National President of the Union, Barr. Titus N. Akpudo [Ichaka]
The governor restated his commitment towards building a virile and prosperous state.
