Iran has accused the United States of being “complicit” in Israel’s recent strikes, warning that any direct involvement by Washington would trigger a strong retaliation. Speaking at a press briefing today, Iran’s UN ambassador, Ali Bahreini, declared that Tehran would not tolerate any crossing of its “red line.”

The tensions follow Israel’s surprise air campaign, launched on June 13, aimed at curbing Iran’s alleged nuclear ambitions, claims Tehran denies.
Iran confirmed firing hypersonic missiles at Israel in response.
Bahreini criticized U.S. and Western silence, calling their stance “hostile and unjustified.”
He said Iran is focused on defending itself and warned that support for Israel equals supporting violations of humanitarian law.
