U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran, giving the country a “maximum” of two weeks to avert a possible American airstrike.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Trump hinted the decision could come even sooner if Iran fails to show progress on dismantling its nuclear program.
“Iran has two weeks—maximum—to act. If they don’t stop the nuclear buildup, we will respond. They know what’s coming.”

Trump criticized European efforts to mediate the crisis, saying, “They didn’t help,” and insisted Iran prefers to negotiate directly with the U.S.
Despite talks in Geneva, Iran’s foreign minister said no dialogue with the U.S. would occur unless Israel halts its attacks. Trump, however, maintained support for Israel, noting it was “winning” the conflict and reiterated claims that Iran is close to developing a nuclear weapon.
