Christians have been urged to have unwavering faith in the finished works of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary as the only way to attain salvation and summount other life challenges facing mankind .
The priest in charge, St John Anglican Church Mbaukwu, Rev. IfeanyiChukwu Chukwudebelu said this in a sermon on Sunday November 8 to comermorate 2020 St James Zone Harvest and Bazaar. He stated that it is only by proclaiming with faith, the blood that Jesus shed on the cross that forgiveness and remission of sins can be attained.
He explained that is only by appropriating the power in the blood of Christ that numerous file of accusations laid by the devil and other written ordinance of the Satan can be destroyed , which according to him also sanctifys all who believe , cleansing all from every unrighteousness.
In her separate contribution, the wife of Archbishop of the Niger Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Awka Dioses, Anglican Communion, Mrs Chioma Ibezim represented by Mrs. Nebolisa , Mrs. Oluchukwu Okonkwo , Mrs. Ebelechukwu Ezeudu and Mrs. Oluchukwu Ebele, said she came to identify with family of Sir Augustine Ebede on the thanksgiving for the successful burial of a dear wife and mother.
Also contributing, the Managing Director Anambra Oxygen plant , Dr Onyeka Ibezim , described harvest and Bazaar as times that avail Christians opportunity in a special way to appreciate God for his goodness, mercies and protection adding that many people had wished to be alive today to be making donation in church but could not , which according to him is as a result of traumatic year the years has been, a year that deserves to end as soon as possible.
He also urged the entire Ebede Family who came for outing mass for the successful burial of their wife to take solace in numerous other memories she was known for while alive.
