The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has summoned an Ibom Air cabin crew member and passenger Comfort Emmanson over a reported incident on a Uyo-to-Lagos flight earlier this month.

The NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, confirmed in Abuja that both parties will appear before investigators tomorrow. He clarified that the pilot did not call in security after landing, as the matter seemed resolved mid-flight.

Emmanson was reportedly the last to disembark after visiting the restroom once the aircraft touched down.

Meanwhile, Senate Aviation Committee Chairman, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai, linked rising misconduct in the sector to a decline in discipline among passengers and staff, and called for strict enforcement of professional standards.

The NCAA says it is committed to transparency and safety as investigations continue.
