Key stakeholders in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state have expressed concern over the sack of the Governor’s political appointees.
According to report, the stakeholders made their feelings known in separate interviews with newsmen on Sunday.
They applauded the governor for repositioning the state government in the right direction but said that sacking political appointees is not resonating well with the people.
According to one Mr Alex Nnachi, he described Governor Umahi’s actions as contradictory , especially as people were contented with his defection.
Another stakeholder, Mr Samuel Ogodo said that,sacking his appointees will give room to antagonism and create unnecessary enemity.
It will be recalled that Governor Umahi had sacked his political appointees, boards and commissions in the state after his defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
