Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police have commenced investigation after a woman reportedly left a hotel in Abuja with a man’s car and other personal belongings.
Police said the incident occurred on Thursday at a hotel in the Asokoro area, where the man and the woman, identified as Precious Chinyere, had checked in for a short stay.
The man said that he later discovered that the woman had left the room without informing him. He reported that his car, wristwatch, mobile phones, and laptop were missing.
Hotel management was notified, and the man subsequently filed a complaint with the police.
The spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the report, added that the matter is under investigation.
She also notified that efforts are ongoing to locate the suspect and recover the items.Police said further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
