The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State on Nupeng Petroleum and Union Matters, Comrade Pete Nwosu, has notified Ndi Anambra that the Federal Government has not increased the pump price of petrol in Nigeria.
Comrade Nwosu who made this known in Awka, directed all petrol stations who have increased their price to revert to the old prce as neither PPPRA or IPMAN has directed the increase of the price.
He advised all petrol stations who are using the rumored increment to shortchange Ndi Anambra to retrace their steps and revert to the original price.
The SSA further assured Ndi Anambra that Anambra State Government, through the Office of the SSA to the Governor, has prioritized the welfare of Ndi Anambra and would not allow any persons or group to take advantage of the people of the State.
