Anambra NSCDC Commandant; Maku Olatunde Strengthens Ties With NSCDC Delta Command
The Anambra State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Comdt. Maku Olatunde, in a bid to combat vandalism and protect vital public installations, embarked on a strategic visit to the NSCDC, Delta State Command, on Thursday, April 3, 2025 to foster collaboration, intelligence sharing, and operational support between the two commands.
During the visit Commandant Maku and Delta State Commandant, Commandant Mathew Ovye, discussed critical security concerns and strategies for policing the two neighbouring states.
They identified transborder criminal activity between the two states as a major security concern requiring decisive action to nip it in the bud.
The meeting centered around bolstering trilateral cooperation to tackle the growing threat of violent crimes and safeguard critical national infrastructure, with specific emphasis on the Second Nigeria Bridge. Their discussions highlighted the importance of Intelligence sharing, enhanced collaboration, and operational support to effectively combat these challenges.
