The Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan has disclosed that over 50 bandits have been neutralized by combined ground and air assault in Birnin Gwari LGA.
The commissioner made this known while updating Newsmen on the level of security in the state on Tuesday revealed that over 50 bandits have been neutralized during a combined ground and air assault.
He said according to operational feedback to the Kaduna State Government from the Command of the Joint Operations, a Nigerian Air Force helicopter gunship provided close air support to ground troops advancing from the Dogon Dawa-Damari-Saulawa axis.
Strikes from the helicopter gunship dealt the bandits a huge blow.
