National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Arrests 75-year-old, Brothers In Major Drug Busts.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has arrested a 75-year-old man and two brothers in separate drug trafficking operations across Nigeria. 

The agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi said on Sunday that John and Kenneth Abugu were arrested April 3 at Lagos airport with 5kg of cocaine hidden in suitcases. 

They claimed to be traveling to India for treatment. 

On the same day, a Ghanaian-British student from East London was caught with 19.4kg of Loud from Bangkok. In Abia, 75-year-old Nna Felix was caught with 1.6kg of skunk. 

Others were arrested in Anambra, Yobe, and Kogi with meth, tramadol, and codeine. NDLEA says efforts are being made to further intensify its nationwide crackdown.
