Soldiers kill three bandits, destroy over 70 camps in Taraba

Troops of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army and Operation Whirl Stroke on Saturday neutralized three bandits and destroyed over 70 hideouts in Karim Lamido LGA, Taraba State. 

The clearance mission is part of ongoing Operation Lafiya Jamaa aimed at eliminating criminal elements in the region. 

The operation uncovered sophisticated weaponry and intelligence materials. 

Commander of the Brigade, Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa, assured residents of continuous efforts to secure lives and property. He commended community cooperation and urged locals to report suspicious activities. 

The Army says the success strengthens its resolve to restore peace and dismantle bandit networks in Taraba.
