All is set for the official outing ceremony of Onwa bu Ife Age grade (OAG) of Umualu Village, in ugwu Oba, Oji River local Government Areas of Enugu state.
The outing ceremony of the age grade, the Ito Ogbo is slated to take on Wednesday December 30th, 2020 at Udoka Primary School, Umualu village in UgwuOba, proudly under the distinguished Chairmanship of High Chief Osita Omah who is also the President General Ugwuoba town Union by 12:00 prompt will feature many cultural displays which according to the Chairman of the age grade, will be first of its kind in the locality.
In a brief Telephone interview with our Correspondent, Udoka Nwokoye, the Chairman of the new Age grade, Barr Ben Chinwuba said all the logistical issues including security arrangements has been contained urging all and sundry to come out in mass to felicitate with them as their age grade is inaugurated.
He also pointed out the new age already has developed frameworks that will foster positive economic development in the community in the areas of education through scholarships, skill acquisition, infrastructural development and women empowerment.
He disclosed that Hon. Barr. Frank Udemezue the current city Mayor of Oji River and immediate past city mayor of the same council area , Hon. Harrison Okeke are the special guest of Honor expected in the occasion, including numerous other guest of Honor which includes High Chief Ozo Orimiri as the grand host, Mrs. Pauline Ume as the mother of the day, top government officials, Bussines moguls, friends and wishers adding that High Life meastro, The Young Shall Grow high life International band will be live on ground to entertain the invited guest.
