Two people have been injured in a vehicular crash involving a red mark Truck belonging to Chukwuemeka fleet with registration number KTE 497 XA, which occurred near OGBO Ochanja in Onitsha along Upper Iweka main Market road.
According to first Information Report of the agency as compiled by the sector Public Education Officer RC Kamal Musa,
the incident occurred about 08:30am on Friday morning.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that a total of two male adults who were on board sustained varying degrees of injuries and were rushed to an undisclosed hospital.
FRSC rescue team from Upper Iweka Outpost thereafter ensured free flow of traffic while the obstruction was being cleared.
The Sector Commander, Andrew Kumapayi, while wishing the injured victims quick recovery, admonished motorists to ensure regular maintenance of vehicles and also make sure that their vehicles meet the minimum safety requirements before using the highways during and after the yuletide.
