3 Mortuary Attendants Escape Lynching Over Dead Man’s Missing Testicles In Abia
By Bolaji
Three mortuary attendants in the Obingwa Council Area in Abia state escaped an angry mob who were about to lynch them over a dead man’s missing testicles.
According to reports, one of the sisters of the deceased insisted the corpse be undressed to see if everything was intact before he was sent to the cemetery to be buried.
After the corpse was undressed, it was realized that the testicles of the dead man were missing.
This angered the youth who followed the family to the morgue to retrieve the corpse.
Eyewitnesses said the attendants attempted to flee the scene but were apprehended by the irate youths.
” We don’t know that this mortuary is involved in such evil business; people have been suspecting him. It is an abomination in Igbo land to sever the body part of a dead person. Now, we have seen what he has done and why his business is flourishing. He was operating his mortuary business in that abandoned filling station. He and his attendants will answer for their crimes.”
