A national coordinator of the National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex Agitators, NCNDE_A, Eshanekpe Isreal popularly known as Akpodoro has urged Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to openly make known his ambition to run for the presidency as others have done instead of keeping quiet over it but allowing his aides to announce his intentions.
Akpodoro made this known in a communique released after a stakeholders meeting held on Saturday, January, 22nd in Abuja.
He said that the Vice President’s silence is confusing but urged the VP to make his ambitions known even if it meant running alongside his political mentor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He said that though the coalition has not endorsed anyone, it was important for APC as a party, that the Vice President make his intentions to run be known as he can decide to go ahead and run as it is his fundamental right or step aside for his political godfather Tinubu to take the stage.
Akpodoro went further to call on the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who is the spiritual leader of the VP to advise him rightly to not stand in the way of the man who brought him into the political limelight and also to remove any form of demonstration of betrayal.
