The Labour Party chairman for Mbaukwu ward, Prince Izuchukwu uchendu has described the Candidate of the party and former Governor of Anambra state Mr. Peter Obi as a true Nigerian who has what it takes to steer the nation out of its precarious condition.
Prince Izuchukwu said this on Monday during the party’s monthly meeting which held at their party secretariat in Ndiagu village mbaukwu , Awka South council Area of Anambra state.
According to Prince Uchendu, the former Governor of Anambra State, who also was the Vice Presidential candidate of PDP in just concluded general election in 2019 , has over the years exemplified trust and rare Leadership qualities, which he said are always in tandem with the twenty first century political realities needed at this time in Nigeria, to solve numerous youth unemployment, insecurity and infrastructural decay facing the nation.
He maintained that Nigeria as a matter of urgency, should shun the politics of ethnicity and religion and support the Labour Party candidate to move the nation Forward especially now all global policy-making are discussing post-oil economy, jobs of tomorrow, and green energy.
While commending churches and other cooperate bodies that have joined the PVC awareness campaigns, Prince Uchendu also urged all who have not enrolled for PVC, to come out in mass to be captured, thanking the election umpire for their consideration in extending time frame beyond july, which he said was aimed at capturing more persons.
Concluding, he maintained that registration of news members into Labour Party continues at Prince Izuchukwu Uchendu house, Ndiagu Village in Namkpu Quarters Mbaukwu and it is entirely free of charge.
