Command PRO Okadigbo Edwin elevated to Deputy Superintendent
The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC ) Anambra State, Comdt David Bille FCIA has today 7th of June 2021 decorated One Hundred and Fifty Seven newly promoted Officers comprising Nine Deputy Commandants, Nineteen Assistant Commandants, Ten Chief Superintendents of Corps, Five Superintendents of Corps, Seventy Seven Deputy Superintendents of Corps, Eighteen Assistant Superintendent of Corps I and Nineteen Assistant Superintendent of Corps II respectively with insignias of their new ranks.
The decoration ceremony was done following the release of 2020
Promotion by The Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Correctional Services Board (CDFICB).
In a brief remark during the ceremony, attended by the Command Management team the State Commandant, Comdt David Bille,FCIA, congratulated the beneficiaries on behalf of the Commandant- General of NSCDC Dr . Ahmed Audi, mni , and urged them to reciprocate the gesture done to them by redoubling their efforts towards fighting crimes and exhibiting high level of professionalism, civility to members of the public and respect for human rights in the discharge of their duties.
Comdt Bille reminded the beneficiaries that their new ranks meant bigger responsibilities on their shoulders and charged them to make positive choices and strides in their line of duty.
Among the newly promoted Officers are DCC Udezulu Ndubuisi, Head Operations Department SHQ Awka, DCC Kazzah Joseph Peter , Area Commander Area A Onitsha, DCC Uju Okafor Head of Disaster Unit, ACC Amadi Marcel of Intelligence and Investigation Department SHQ Awka, CSC Onyebuchi Onwuteaka Head of Anti- Vandal Unit and the Command Public Relations Officer (CDPRO )DSC Okadigbo Edwin .
Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers, DCC Barnabas Ejiofor thanked the the Honourable Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Commandant General of NSCDC, and Board members for finding them worthy of the promotion and promised to redouble their efforts towards serving the Nation with integrity.
