Gov. Soludo Adopts Measures To Curb Security Challenges In Anambra

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has taken steps to fight insecurity in the state.

In a Statewide Broadcast yesterday, governor Soludo imposed 6pm to 6am curfew for Keke, Okada and Shuttle buses till further notice.

The governor also banned the use of tricycles, motorcycles and shuttle buses on Mondays till further notice.

He directed that any community and/or individual lands used as camps by terrorists will be forfeited to government.

The Governor’s broadcast also spoke on what it called “Operation know your tenants” for landlords, warning that any house linked to any tenant caught indulging in crime – kidnap, arson, gun running, drug dealing, rape, murder, armed robbery, possession of fire arms would be confiscated by government.

He announced #1M bounty on anyone who provides information on those hyping, praising, supporting, or offering any support to Unknown Gunmen, UGM.

Furthermore, the governor announced that Compulsory CCTV would be installed in all fuel stations in Anambra state, while footages would be submitted to security agencies weekly
