Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has thrown his weight behind APC Chieftain – Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidency, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Speaking on Thursday at the launch of a campaign group for Tinubu’s presidential ambition tagged, “Southwest Agenda 2023 (SWAGA ‘23)”, Sanwo-Olu described Tinubu as a legend who laid the legacy of governorship in the state adding that SWAGA is a movement that encapsulates the Tinubu philosophy and expressing hope for the chieftain’s success at the elections.
Also speaking at the event, Lagos Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, aligned with his principal declaring that Tinubu is capable for the job.
Although Tinubu is yet to declare his intention to contest any office in 2023, there have been reports and veiled indications that he might be interested in the exalted seat.
