The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world and as important pivots of the family, mothers are central to the development of society as they are the most important levers for raising socially acceptable humans.
This was the submission of the Governor of Anambra state, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo as he celebrated the Anglican Mothers on the occasion of their Mothering Sunday on 27th March, 2022.
Eulogizing the mothers, Governor Soludo said that this is also a critical period to reflect on the fundamental problem with the quality of characters that emanate from the homes. He said he believes it is time to reevaluate the hands that rock the cradle.
Governor Soludo prayed that the mothers will find the courage to repel negative attitudes in their children and have the wisdom to lead them aright and the forthrightness to insist on the common good. He prayed for God’s blessings on all mothers of goodwill.
