President Bola Tinubu has praised Finland’s intervention in arresting Simon Ekpa, stating that Nigeria will not tolerate divisive actions. He made this known while receiving the Finnish Ambassador to Nigeria, Ms. Sanna Selin, who presented her Letters of Credence at the State House.
Tinubu emphasized Nigeria’s indivisibility, saying cohesion is needed to foster development. The Finnish envoy acknowledged Tinubu’s reforms and assured improved bilateral relations.
The President also received Letters of Credence from the European Union Ambassador, Mr. Gautier Mignot, and Algeria’s Hocine Mezoued. Discussions centered on trade, digitalization, and the trans-Saharan African Gas Pipeline project. Tinubu urged collaboration to strengthen Africa’s unity and development.
