Dr Chinedu Umeadi Visits Eze Nri, Receives Royal Blessings.
Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi, the candidate of YPP in the forth coming Senatorial District election for Anambra Central District, has visited Eze Nri, the custodian of Igbo culture and tradition.
Umeadi’s first outing after he emerged the candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) was his visit to Eze Nri to seek his royal blessings.
At the palace of Eze Nri, the traditional ruler commended Dr Umeadi for the bold step he has taken, and for leaving his comfort zone to come down to Nigeria, all in his quest for good leadership in the country.
He prayed for the success of his Senatorial project, while asking the people to support him.
In his keynote address, Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi, thanked Eze Nri for the warm welcome.
He stressed that the pivotal reason he is coming out for the contest is to adequately represent his people at the red chamber, noting that past legislators have tried their best and promised that if given the mandate by the people, he would perform beyond expectations.
According to him, as the candidate of YPP, which is a progressives party, mostly made up of the youths, he would ensure that the youths form the major crux of his political inclusion and spread, because they are the main reason for his aspiration towards becoming a senator that will adequately represent them.
