Awka North Local Government elects Chief Barrister Ngini as the monarch of Isuaniocha

Chief Barrister Ngini has been elected the monarch of Isuaniocha in Awka North Local Government.

The election that took place on January 6th, 2023 brought an end to the conflict which rocked the community for years and made it impossible to have a traditional head.

The election was supervised by a team from Anambra State Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs

Chief Barrister Ngini polled a total of 375 votes against his opponent who scored 329 votes.

The Igwe elect thanked Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his determination to make all communities in the state to have a legitimate leadership.

He also praised the Commissioner for Local Government , Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Tony Nwabunwanne for using his office to restore peace in the community and encouraged him to continue the good work .
