Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction with his role in the just concluded 2023 elections in the country , as he stayed above it, without meddling or interfering.
Senior Special Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu in a statement he signed and made available on Tuesday said that President Buhari was inspired by the fact that voters were able to make their own decision, to decide who won or lost.
He also stated that with the currency change, there was no money to buy votes, even though he had told voters to take the money if offered , and vote according to their consciences.
He expressed hope that Nigeria will continue to make progress in building a nation out of her different and competitive communities.
