I Mourn Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah – Valentine Ozigbo
A former Governorship candidate in Anambra State, valentine Ozigbo, has expressed shock at the passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah representing Anambra South Senatorial District.
Senator Ubah died in London on Saturday at the age of 52.
In his condolence message, Ozigbo declared, “It is with shock and a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of our dear brother, Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District in Nigeria’s upper legislative house.
“Ubah reportedly died in London.
“A man of a humble beginning, Senator Ubah showed with his life that one can transcend his limitations and with unwavering commitment positively impact of his community, State and country.
“Shooting into Nigeria’s business sector as a young passionate promoter and Managing Director of Capital Oil & Gas Industries Limited, Senator Ubah’s ambitions gave impetus to young Nigerians that with hard work, personal conviction and doggedness, they can succeed in any line of endeavour they put their minds and hearts to.
“His foray into politics followed the same visionary pursuit of service to his people, winning elections as two-term Senator. He exhibited the same exemplary tenacity which saw him investing in the sports and media sector where he made appreciable impacts.
“He was an embodiment of the ‘think home’ mentality that Igbos especially Anambra people are known for.
“Senator Ubah’s pursuit of dedication and passion for service and welfare of others in his community and society at large shall be sorely missed.
“My heartfelt condolence goes to his wife, Mrs. Uchenna Ubah and the children he left behind, his friends, associates, his community Nnewi, the Anambra South Senatorial District, the State and the Nigerian Senate.
“May the soul of Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah rest in perfect peace”.
