The Confederation of African Football will announce its decision on the controversial AFCON qualifying match between Libya and Nigeria this Wednesday.

The match, initially set for October 15 at Benina Martyrs Stadium, was canceled after Nigeria’s team faced significant travel disruptions, including a 17-hour hold at Al Abraq International Airport.

The Libyan Football Federation has submitted documents to CAF, asserting their side of the incident. Meanwhile, CAF has referred the matter to its Disciplinary Committee, emphasizing the need for an investigation into the troubling conditions faced by the Nigerian team during their trip to Libya.
