Markets in Anambra to Open for Business today

Governor Willie Obiano has ordered that markets in the state be opened for business today.

The Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr Uchenna Okafor made this known through his media assistant, Judy Jeff Nwabueze.

It will be recalled that markets in the state were shut down on Thursday following the hijacking of the EndSARS protests by miscreants.

Schools in Anambra State to remain on Recess till further notice

The current recess of schools in Anambra has been extended till further review. According to the statement by the Ministry of Education’s Permanent Secretary, Mr Linus Nwankwo, the extension was done in the interest of the school children and will be reviewed by Wednesday, October 28th 2020 for further decision.
