Top tennis star Aryna Sabalenka has apologized to Coco Gauff for what she called unprofessional comments following her loss at the French Open final.
Sabalenka, who lost in three sets, had initially suggested Gauff’s win was due more to her own mistakes than the American’s performance.

Speaking to Eurosport Germany, Sabalenka admitted she let emotions take over and revealed she later wrote to Gauff, acknowledging she fully deserved the victory.
Meanwhile, British player Katie Boulter has revealed she and her family have received death threats and abuse online. The messages, including violent and explicit content, came during and after her matches.
Boulter, who played in Nottingham, called for more protection for players, especially younger ones.
