The negotiations will involve the Nigerian Medical Association, Joint Health Sector Union, and the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, focusing on pay, working conditions, and welfare.

The committee, led by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service, was inaugurated by Coordinating Minister of Health, Prof. Muhammad Pate, who called it a milestone toward fairness and sustainability in healthcare.

Labour Minister Muhammadu Dingyadi stressed the goal of industrial peace.
