Nigeria’s D’Tigers cruised to an 87-66 victory over Tunisia in the 2025 Men’s Afrobasket on Friday in Luanda, Angola.

Led by NBA star Josh Okogie, who scored a record-breaking 33 points in just 24 minutes, Nigeria dominated from the start, racing to a 10-0 lead and maintaining control through all four quarters.

The win follows a 77-59 triumph over Madagascar earlier in the week and cements D’Tigers’ spot at the top of Group B.

Their next game is against Cameroon on Sunday, which will decide knockout stage seedings.

Nigeria, champions in 2015, are aiming for a second continental title, inspired by the recent success of the women’s team, D’Tigress.
