A woman suspected to be a native of Benin in Edo state and Agbo in Delta State was allegedly dumped by Persons believed to be yahoo boys in Agulu precisely at Ukunu Agulu junction in Aniocha council Area of Anambra State.
She was spotted by by passer-by and later drew the attention of Ukunu Village Vigilante alongside a male child believed to be two months old, gasping for breath.
According to an eyewitness who spoke to our correspondent anonymously, the lady was forced out of a car around 8:30 p.m. in the night on Saturday January 15 2023 and her baby.
In an interview, the girl said gave her name as Odion Ebere and said she is a native of Agbo in delta state and also Benin in edo state. She also supplied further explanation that is totally incomprehensible but keep saying that she wants to see ” Oba of Benin”.
Reacting to the development, the President General Agulu People’s Union Nigeria, chief Oliver Ahamefuna, decried the get-rich-quick-syndrome among the youths, calling on the government to do all it can to stem the tide of this ugly development.
He commanded Ukunu Agulu Vigilante Commander for acting fast by reporting the matter to the DPO Neni police division and also handing over the little baby to paediatric hospital for treatment.
He further enjoined Ndi Agulu to be watchful of their environment for any strange personality and movement and report such to security agencies for swift action.
He however appealed to the general public to report to the nearest police station, if they recognize the identity of the woman.
