The Abia State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old man, Nwogu Nnamdi, for stabbing his brother to death over a misunderstanding.
Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, who disclosed this during a press briefing at the Command’s Headquarters in Umuahia on Friday, September 19, 2025, said, one Nnamdu Nwogu Nnamdi of Nwagbara street Umuikpo Aba stabbed his brother, John Nwachukwu with knife on the stomach, over a misunderstanding.
“On 29/07/2025 at about 1930hrs we received a report from Uratta Divisional headquarters that one Nwogu Nnamdi male, 35yrs, of Nwagbara street Umuikpo Aba stabbed his brother, one John Nwachukwu, with knife on the stomach over a misunderstanding,” “The victim was rushed to Abia State Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH) Aba, where he was confirmed dead. “The suspect was arrested, Investigation is ongoing at SCID.” the CP further explained.
